Giant Group Canada is proud to announce it will be partnering with the Okanagan Graveller Event taking place at Big White Ski Resort on June 18th-19th.

The Okanagan Graveller Event is set to be one of the most exciting Gravel Events this side of the Rockies. The new event is promoted by the company that has brought you the Okanagan Granfondo in Penticton, BC and has many years of organizing high-quality events and routes. Speaking of routes, this 2-day race is going to have plenty to challenge all levels.

“Giant is an iconic brand, known both locally and across the world. In developing the inaugural Okanagan Graveller gravel race, we knew we wanted to partner with the very best names in cycling. Giant has emerged as a leader in the ever-growing gravel bike category, and we are thrilled to bring them on as our official bike partner for our new event at Big White Ski Resort in June 2022.” said Jodi Merckx, Okanagan Graveller Organizer.

“When Jodi first started sending me potential routes for a gravel event, I knew at that moment Giant had to get involved. This isn’t like any other gravel event, these roads surrounding the Big White Resort are epic. Having a world-class resort with thousands of beds, condos, and cabins gives this the legs to be something huge. “  said Colby Large, BC Territory Manager, Giant Group Canada.

"Gravel riding has exploded in Canada over the last few years especially during the pandemic. It is an aspect of cycling that anybody can partake in. The racer, the adventurer, the newcomer or a group of friends looking to hang out and ride away from traffic. What better place to do that than in Wine Country in the Okanagan. Make a weekend of it and get the ride/party ratio just right at the Okanagan Graveller".
